Natural Rubber (NR)

Natural rubber is qualified as oil non-oil resistant, and its working temperature is 70º C. Both these features are not the most favourable, but natural rubber offers other properties that make it irreplaceable, such as:

• Excellent mechanical characteristics, even in compounds without load, highlighting the tensile and tear strength.
• Excellent resilience
• Good compression set
• Good resistance to low temperatures

On the other hand of these characteristics we must point out:

• Lack of resistance to weathering and ozone, so it’s necessary to protect it with anti-ozone and anti-rust products.

As for its use, the manufacture of large, competition tyres point out as per their hard performance conditions.
