Seals and gaskets are manufactured with various types of rubber compounds depending on the use and the working conditions of the part. TECNASA manufactures seals and gaskets using EPDM, NBR or FKM among other rubber compounds.
TECNASA is specialised in the use of special fluorinated rubbers such as fluoroelastomer and perfluoro-elastomers. We have also developed the capability to formulate our own fluorinated compounds, which allows us to develop customised compounds to satisfy the characteristics for each customer, product and use.
Our seals and gaskets are manufactured either by direct moulding of the part or by moulding a rubber sheet from where the seals and gaskets will be die-cut . The manufacturing process, whether direct moulding or die-cutting, depends mainly on the technical requests and on the dimensional requirements of the part.
